FOX TOWER BLUEGRASS BAND
The Fox Tower Bluegrass Band, founded in 1984, was Andy's first own band. It existed The Fox Tower Bluegrass Band, Andy's first founded band in 1984, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2004.
This is the reason that you will see them perform more frequently during this year on stages in Germany as well as in other European coutries.
Highlights in these 20 years were, among others, several European and USA tours, the recording of two CDs and the win of the "BEST OF TEXAS AWARD" as best international bluegrass band in Magnolia, Texas in 1999.
They also appeared on many radio and TV shows and were elected to showcase at the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) together with 11 other world classs bands in 2000.
The current lineup consists of Andy Glandt on Banjo, Peter Schreiber on fiddle, Rüdiger Mund on guitar and Udo Hemmann on upright bass.
